Natalie Vonmüllenen completed her studies at the Universities of Lucerne and Geneva with a Master of Law. She was subsequently admitted to the bar in the Canton of Lucerne and completed a CAS in Forensics. She worked as a lawyer for two years, was a lecturer in constitutional law for around two years and worked as a public prosecutor for twelve years. She was also a local councillor in the municipality of Emmen for three years.
